Reading with Dreaming in Women*
Dreaming in Women* is a reading group that uses public space for collective and public reading – as intervention, conversation, poetic research, protest, performance, and gathering. Together with the participants, we read excerpts from “The Cold Heart” (1827) as well as texts by Sara Ahmed, bell hooks, and Jack Halberstam, among others, to explore and expand the central motifs of the fairy tale.
The readings are open to everyone, with a particular invitation to FLINTA* = women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans, and agender people.
