Location: WKV

The exhibition by Dominique Hurth focuses on female participation in Nazi crimes, exemplified by the female guards of the Ravensbrück concentration camp. At the center are their uniforms, the camp’s textile production, and the examination of the postwar trials of Nazi war criminals.

Through installations, drawings, textiles, historical documents, as well as video and slide projections, Hurth explores power structures, gender representations, and the continuities of violence and exploitation. The exhibition combines artistic research with a critical and empathetic approach to a topic long considered taboo.
