Detox Masculinity

The workshop – developed by the Institute for Critical Masculinity Studies Detox Masculinity – encourages a critical engagement with contemporary representations of masculinity by applying “male fantasies” to the content of the fairy tale. Which aspects of masculinity depicted in the romantic story are still relevant today? How are these stereotypes conveyed in images, and how can they be deconstructed?
