Accessibility Statement

The Kunstgebäude Stuttgart strives to make its website accessible in accordance with § 10 Paragraph 1 of the State Equal Opportunities for People with Disabilities Act (L-BGG).

1. STATUS OF COMPLIANCE WITH REQUIREMENTS

This website is partially compliant with § 10 Paragraph 1 L-BGG following a self-assessment, due to the inconsistencies and exceptions listed below. We are continuously working to optimize our website, identify existing barriers, and remove them in order to provide all users with the most barrier-free and pleasant experience possible.

2. NON-ACCESSIBLE CONTENT

The content listed below is not fully accessible for the following reasons:

  • Keyboard focus is not always sufficiently visible
  • No SQAT (Sign Language Quality Assurance Tool) for communication with deaf users
  • Not all content is available in Easy Language and German Sign Language
  • Image files in the Digital Collection do not have alternative text or image descriptions
  • Some embedded videos do not have captions or transcripts
  • PDFs are not fully accessible

We strive not to provide PDF files on our homepage. However, this is not always avoidable. Due to different design methods, not all PDF files are accessible.
